After spending a number of frustrating years, trying to learn the concept of network marketing, and applying it, without any real success, I had the good fortune of stumbling across Michael Dlouhy, and Mentoring For Free.
I was ready to throw in the towel, but something told me to check out this FREE system of teaching people network marketing. The fact that it was completely FREE, and no companies or products were promoted did not hurt either. I admit to being skeptical at first, as I had been burned repeatedly in the past, but I soon learned, that there was no agenda, other than teaching people the skills needed for network marketing success.
The book the GoGiver was recommended for personel development, as was training with Napoleon Hills book.
I learned that network marketing is first and foremost a people business. People join people, with whom they have build a relationship. Therefore, the relationships you build with people in this business, should be nurtured with truthand integrity.When people know they can trust you, you have build relationships that will last a lifetime.
My friend and mentor, Michael Dlouhy will tell you: "Build people and people will build your business" andhe reminds us that we will always end with the truth coming out, so why not just start there.
Here is an excerpt from Michaels book "Success in 10 Steps", that will show you one of the reasons why network marketing is a people business:

When I first read that network marketing is a people business, not a numbers business, I admit I was skeptical.
Since then I have had proof after proof that it really IS a people business. And for that I am greatful.
I find it much easier to help and mentor people, than push numbers at them.
And the giant bonus is, that while I do this, often my efforts turns into lasting friendships
and business relationships, that lasts, and at the same time builds my business.
For me, this approach has taken the stress out of, and put the pleasure and fun into building my business.

Troughtout history, it is the people who do not give up on their dreams, that get there.
Look at people like Edison, Carnegie, Ford to mention a few of the famous ones.
But there are many more who are not necessarily famous at all.
Just everyday people like you and I, that are accomplishing what they want to accomplish, and living the life of their dreams.
How can you accomplish that?
The first thing you MUST do is have faith in yourself, and learn to visualize your dream in
detail.
The next thing is to get rid of the negative chatter we all have crammed into our minds from the media especially, and from a variety of negative people, we come into contact with.
To develope unerring faith in yourself, auto suggestion is an important tool, as is the strong desire to reach your goal.
You than make a plan to reach your goals and keep your focus on your goal everyday, all day.
Given enough determination and a little bit of free training, you can transmute your dreams into reality.

I never realy began to succeed in network marketing, until I found a proven duplicateable
system to follow.
As soon as that happened, I was able to concentrate on following the relatively simple steps,
and concentrate on building my business.
It also means you are able to retain your downline, rather than loosing people on a regular basis. People will stay with a system that works for them, which in turn means you have more time to spend talking to new prospects and having your business expand much faster.
You are also relieved of the chore of constantly trying to make changes, and test new methods. In a proven duplicateable system, you just apply the proven method and put your concentration 100% on building your business.
When you couple this with an unfailing support system, you know you are home.

We are constantly offered things we don't need or want, and we are being soaked in bad news from all over the world on a daily basis.
Because we are being bombarded constantly with things that are not necessarily our choise,
and often these things are of a depressing, or stressful nature, it is becomming increasingly important that we choose the things we allow into our heads.
Don't let negative people or thoughts rent space in your head. It gives them power. And you want to give power to positive people and thoughts, because it will directly affect your life.
We also have the ability to declutter ourself mentally, just like cleaning and decluttering a messy room, to restore order, and bring the space back to optimal condition and usefulness.
In the case of a mental cleanse, it will stop all the unwanted chatter in our minds, and give us the ability to focus on who we really are, and what we want to achieve. I am indescibably sick of the amount of offers being passed of as good opportunities online.
So many decent hardworking people are being ripped off , having their time wasted, and being relieved of their hard earned money, while trying to better the situation forthemselves, and their families.
Now there are a couple of companies that have come under fire from the attourney generals office this past week, and we are hearing phrases such as SHUT DOWN and BANK ACCOUNT SEIZURE.
At present it looks like some victims may be reimbursed for some of their losses.

To begin with, many of us have to work regular jobs, beside our network marketing.
On top of that, there are numerous chores and responsibilities we face on a daily basis.
That means that the best possible thing we can do for ourselves, is to organize and prioritize.
Time has to be made for family. That is the number one reason for many of us to go into network marketing in the first place, so that we can have more time to spend with our families. And time for a good nights sleep, so we can function.
The remaining time has to be divided between the rest of our responsibilities.
That means going over our daily activities, a bit like an efficiency expert would go
through the daily activities in a workplace to deternine where and how things could be
done with less waste of time.
You will be surprised how much time you can save in the course of a day, when you get organized.
A few minutes her, fifteen minutes there, and so on, and suddenly you have an extra hour or
two at your disposal.
Where it is possible, it is also beneficial to work together as a family, share chores to get more time together.
Guard your time well.
That also means, do the research on what type company (business model) will respect your time, and how to recognize the scams, so that you do not waste precious time, and hard earned money, while building your business.
